Heather Pierce

Heather Pierce occasionally colors outside the lines and can usually be found hanging out at the intersection of Psychology and Education. She has been internationally recognized as the author of pioneering psychological research regarding Posttraumatic Stress Disorder in 911 Telecommunicators. Heather has been a professional trainer in the public and private sectors as well as a progressive instructor in higher education. She is experienced in adult learning theory as it applies to instructional design, facilitation, and the assessment of learning. Heather has earned a couple of degrees in Psychology and is currently honing her skills in the art of andragogy at DePaul University by becoming thy Master of Educating Adults.
